I thought that burner was limited to 2.4x!!
which media are you using?
COuld also be the image, how have you done the backup? -for ss.bin which software & drive -for game.iso which software & drive -how was it merged

Ouch those Ricohs are pricey. I definitely wouldn't pay that much for them.
