Title: Booktype?
Post by: SpiderX1016 on January 09, 2007, 06:44:00 PM
Can I change the booktype in dvd decrypter and leave it open and go off to xbox backup creator and burn it with XBC?
Any other better way to change the booktype or more reliable or w/e...?

And in XBC under options, It says Drive Specific, Do I put it for the Hitachi v78 (Testing game with) or Samsung MS28 (Ripping with)

Which dvd burner do you have?

Those are read options so it would be MS28 (TSH943).

The Booktype v1.3.5 by liteon is a good tool  wink.gif .

start BookType135
put a DL disk in,
in "Change Booktype to" select DVD-ROM
check save settings and
hit CHANGE
close BookType135
After it is done once , the booktype will stay, no need to redo it.

to verify the booktype
open BookType135 again,
put the disk back in if it is not,
The current disk booktype should be DVD-ROM.

or dvdinfopro will do all of that as well

I guess it's just me but given the cost of the 111D why not pick one up.  Use the 111D for burns and the 165 for ripping/scanning.  That's exactly what I do (although I have the 160 instead of the 165).

Because I barely bought this drive a few weeks ago and I don't have money to spend on another drive
