Hey guys, here's my issue. I have a 360 with a hitachi drive. Up until a couple of days ago I was using the wxripper hotswap method to backup my games, then I used ss merger1.6 to inject the ss files. All backups using that method are working properly in my drive that is flashed with GaryOpa Extreme 2.3. Now I have just received my sh-d162c from ebay and using iso buster, Schtrom 3.1 and xbox backup creator 2.2, I have yet to make a successful backup of any game I have tried. So my question is... What method is the most successful using the sh-d162c to make backups that work on a Hitachi drive? 10 coasters and counting....please help!!!

1. What version is the firmware on the SH-D162C? If it's not KREON v0.81, flash with that. I think that is the latest.
2. Use XBC 2.3
3. What burner and media? I assume your burner is ok, since you burned working copies before. Media - Can't go wrong with Verbatium
- XBC 2.3 is simple with the SH-D162c, just hit backup, then once you have the image, hit burn. It does all the SS/DMI/PFI when you make an image using the software.
I have a Hitachi drive and SH-D162C and Pioneer 111D as burner.
Try setting the SH-D162C as MASTER also, better yet, put both of them on separate IDEs as masters. If you can't do that, my setup is SH-D162C master and burner slave, thats worked for me.
