Title: Very Frusterating Problem With Xbox 360 Ss Merger

I really need help.I have successfully created an ISO file of Gears of War using wxRipper and now I am trying to insert the SS.bin file. When I select the ISO in XBOX 360 SS Merger v.1.7b I click Yes when it says "Do you want to calculate the md5 sum and verify online for the iso entry"like I am supposed to, however, this is when the problem occurs. Right after I click it the program shows up as Not Responding in task manager however if I wait a few minutes, this pops up (IMG:http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/9287/errorlw5.jpg)
I am unable to get past this and I am getting pretty frustrated as I know it works for countless other people. I have tried turning off my firewall and using another ISO file but neither worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i was getting the same thing a week ago.  Haven't tried it since.

Wxripper is a good, reliable method... if it's an NTSC game just skip the checksum and inject the NTSC SS file... if it's a PAL game, do the same w/ the PAL SS file... the worse that could happen is that you waste 1 disc....

Suggest that you use Schtrom360Xtract_V3.1 instead.

It takes care of all this for you - I have successfully backed up GOW without problem using this tool.

I am having the very same problem with every ISO that i try to open with the SS Merger
so i was just wondering if this has been solved yet
