Title: Burning Xbox 360 Games With Nec Nd-3550a?
Post by: Doumlo on November 30, 2006, 06:57:00 AM
Hi.

I want to use my NEC ND-3550A dvd burner for burning Xbox 360 games.
I've heard that it wont work straight away, but I could update the firmware and get it to work.
Can someone tell me exactly which firmware i should use, how I install it and if theres anything else I need to do in order to burn games?

Thx.

I have a Hitachi drive in my xbox btw.

Worked fine for me.

hitachi 47dj xbox360
nme 1.1 chip on said hitachi

samsungh sdwhatever kreon .81 reader
nec 3550a burner
memorex dvd+r DL

the only thing i had to do was flash the samsung reader with kreon .81.
the nec is stock, and it burns backups fine.
