Title: Image Size - Can We Go Smaller?

Right now all 360 images are the same size.  In the future will we be able to have different sized images, or is that not possible with the firmware hack?  From my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong), they must be dual layer because the SS is on a certain spot of the disc.

With the original XBOX images, they can range from a few hundred megabytes all the way up to a Dual Layer image.  Will this ever be possible with the firmware hack?
