The Lite-On 165HP6 is supposed to get along well with the Hitachi and it supports Lightscribe although I have yet to see Lightscribe compatible D/L media. There is a thread here somewhere around here that shows which ones are compatible. Pioneer is also supposed to have a lightscribe model (The 111L) and that would be my first choice as it and the regular 111D are among the highest success stories with 360 backups on the Hitachi drive. As always you are only as good as your media so stick to quality media (Verbatim D/L DVD+R). BTW here is the link to that thread:
