Try some Verbs.  Its sounds like your media is unbalanced.

Ok same deal with memorex, still waiting on verbatim.  Have tried to position the console both vertical and horizontal with no effect.

Ok well I have concluded it is the game itself.  I have done some more testing with my retail copy today and it makes the same noises(don't know why I didn't pick it up the first time).  This doesn't happen with any other games, just Dead Rising.  So no different media is going to help smile.gif

Incase someone else experiences the same problem to help further diagnose, which drive is in your 360?

Good point.

Hitachi 46D

Well it must be the media then. I have a Hitachi 46DJ and I experience no issues using Verbatim media.

Read my previous post, it does it on the original disc as well.  And only for this game, maybe your not hearing it, I didn't notice it for a while but it is definitely there.

Sorry I missed your follow up post.

What kind of condition is the original disc in? Smudges? scratches?

That's nice, but as I have already stated twice now, this is also happening on the ORIGINAL RETAIL copy.
