Title: Anyone Tried Dvd-r Dl

I have been reading the post on Hitachi compartable link and all I saw was most of the member agreed on Pioneer 111d and Verbatim DVD+R DL. I just ordered my Pioneer OEM drive and both DVD-R DL and DVD+R DL blacnk discs and wanna know if any of you tried DVD-R DL with any dvd writers? Does it make difference eithet plus or minus media DL?
