Title: Problems Backing Up Nhl 2k6 And Nba 2k6
Post by: gerzand on July 25, 2006, 08:57:00 AM
Hey,

I'll be glad to help you out.

Simply put: The problem is that cartain games in the 360 line-up are a bit different sector-wise and will not always rip correctly. There are 2 ways around this.

1) You can search for the largest dvd movie you can find that gets closest to 8.5gb as you can and see if it works.

OR

2) (This works EVERY time) In WxRipper, find the magic # of the disc you are ripping, but instead of going to File--->Dump, go to File--->Save Layout File. Name the file whatever u want on your Desktop. Then, open this file with WordPad. You will see a list of numbers and letters. replace the first 3 lines of text with these 4 lines and save the file (overwrite).

C19408
D1072
C91135
D18209

Now, while WxRipper is still open, go to file--->Open layout file. Load the file you just overwrote.

Then DUMP! no more problems.

Remember, you must create one of these files for each new disc title u want to rip.
