Title: Disk Is Dirty Error
Post by: 2K4EVOVIII on June 28, 2006, 05:13:00 PM
Well just finish my first backup and put it into the 360. The 360 spins and the screen goes black then i get the message "This disk is dirty please try to clean or contact m$" basically is what it says. Any ideas what i messed up? The 360 drive sounds like the lenses is running into things. Sounds terrible. When i put the origional back it everything is fine.

I burned onto Ritek DVD DL
Burned with Plextor PX-716A

Burned in Clone CD with bitsetting set to DVD-ROM.

Also since it thinks the disk is dirty does that mean that the firmware upgrade was succesful or could that still be a problem also?

Thank You for your time

Chris

3) burner doesnt like your media ( i use datawrite titaniums)

if it says wrong region code you did something thats not allowed here and used a pal game.

otherwise get a pioneer 111D and some verbatims. Save yourself the money lost on coasters.

Using PAL games is perfectly alright providing it is ripped from the original.
Stop giving advice pertaining to games of the wrong region, becuase there is only one way that happens and it can't be the problem with an original rip can it?
Since your own thread was checkd for this you have given this advice more than a few times.
Fair warning given about this.

Had the exact same problem, burning with ImgBurn fixed it though. I suggest trying that before you go out and buy new media or a new burner.
