I have a PC screen, but no amp or anything to convert sound. Can I get game sound from the MS headset or is it only gamespeak? Is there any smart way to get game sound to a set og headphones without using amp or anything like that?

A Microsoft XBOX Live headset won't give you any game sounds, just chat. It's like they want you to listen to chat with one ear, but then listen to the actual game with both ears (of course your 1 ear for chat is covered by the headset).
The best way to get what you need is an XJacker kit: XJacker: Turn your PC headset into a XBOX headset with game audio and chat
XJacker kits turn any PC headset into a full-fledged XBOX gaming headset with game audio and chat mix. They have kits that to connect to your TV/Stereo headphone jack, to your RCA outputs for HDMI users, and even directly to your console.
They also have an amped kit that boosts sound, which is what i use. It sounds great, really loud and clean, and I believe that amp kit is used by MLG pros.
Hope this helps!
