Hello,
I have an xbox 360 Pro with built in HDMI and i connect it to my LCD monitor Haans-G HG281D which is a fullHD 1080p.
In the xbox menu i only have the option to pick 480p, while if i use component it works fine with 1080p but i prefer to use HDMI using my splitter(i tried connecting it directly as well).
Is there a way to force the xbox to use 1080p? or any other tip so i can change it?
thanks in advance (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Same Problem over here. Also got the same Hanns. G LCD Monitor Connected with my XBOX Arcade HDMI. Tried it with a XBOX Vga Cable and I get 1920x1080. Do you hhave an XBOX Certified HDMI Cable ? that's what I will Try Next.

Hi guys,
I'm having the same problem has described up there
Have you found any solution ?
I'm expecting to buy the official VGA cable to connect the xbox In 1080P do you think it will be ok ?
Only two solutions are possible I think:
-Buy an official VGA cable
-Try with a HDMI cable wich come from the xbox connector not the hdmi output
