Title: Picture Gone Black

whats up all. so my friends 360 was acting funny. for a few days, there would be a green coloring on the picture.  he bought new video cables and it was still doing that. so he brought it over here and it was still doing that. so we confirmed it was definitally the 360 and not the cables or his tv.
now the screen is all black with lines going across it. you can still hear the sound and there are no red lights.

ive read about similar problems on this forum. i have a feeling he needs a new 360 (this one has no warrenty).

so before i tell him to go out and buy a new one, i just wanted to make sure there was nothing that can be done to fix this.    ????  thanks.

sounds cool. ill have to wait till tomorrow before i can finish this damn thing.  one of these methods should work! good luck.
