I`ve just bought a GOODMANS GTVL32W8HD television, and I cant seem to get the code for the remote and I`ve tried for over an hour trying to porgram it, can anyone help me

yeah this works for my tv for about 10 minutes
it could be the remote or the batteries

That probably means its not the correct code. Rather than using the channel buttons, just keep pressing power until the TV turns off. Count how many times you have to press to make it work. Then cover the IR on the remote and do it, but press one extra time and try it. The first code for the TV may give you some functionality but not all. Keep doing this (pressing it one extra time each time) and see if you can get it to work.
Example, if I find that I have to press power 20 times to get the TV to work, I'll cover the remote, press it 20 times, then point it at the TV and see if Press # 21 works. This will get the remote to use the next code on the list. Really, just cover the remote at press #20 then continue because the real code may not necessarily be the next one, it could be much further down the list.
