Post by: lugi on November 26, 2006, 05:56:00 AM
Hola

Which system should i look for ? I want to have pure 5.1 and not stereo only (with the cheap 2-1 connectors pic at the bottom).

Can i get any in the price range 100-200$ ?

And what should i look after..tips (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

To get real Dolby Digital all you need is a system that accepts it, and also an optical in on that system. (you could use coaxial, but the 360 doesn't output coaxial..)

EDIT: Though you do need an optical connection to get 'real' 5.1 sound ive found on plenty of Xbox games on the Xbox (using the standard A/V cables) that i've got 5.1 sound out of it, examples like Hitman Contracts gave me 5.1 without an optical cable, though to be sure just get an optical connection.

Hmm didn't find any cheap one with optical.. Would this be fine? Logitech

Also included is a splitter audio cable for component hook ups. This is you want to use the X-540 with your gaming console, CD or DVD player or virtually anything else that you can think of with audio out.

Will it be 5.1? Or only stereo..
