To get a HD signal you need to use either Component (Red Green Blue cables) HDMI (single plug, sonsidered best cable for HD signals) or VGA/DVI which are computer cables, and you need to buy the seperate VGA cable to use VGA.

If your tv doesnt have any of these, then its either not Hd or if it definently is then it will only accept HD signals via an antenna (which i havnt seen a HDTV to date without any HD inputs, especially component.

you need to buy the ms vga cable and a vga to dvi converter off the internet... this could be a bitch to make work but give it a shot.
