Title: Hd Cable
Post by: sicknasty413 on September 23, 2006, 12:38:00 PM
the hd cable is capable of use on a standard t.v., thats what the yellow cable is for. If you noticed, theres a little switch on the plug (the one that goes into the 360). HDTV or the other one. When you have it set to HDTV, its outputting its signal to the 2 audio (red & white) and the 3 video (red+blue+green). So, when using it in HD, the yellow cable is completely unnecessary and will function properly without it.

Yellow is composite, the other video ones are component. the red and white audio are standard stereo.

Go VGA and fibre optic audio if your gear handles it.

The people with bad colours in VGA mode have either a set that doesnt handle the colour type or hanve not correctly edited the colour type in their TV setup
