It wouldn't run at the max res, but the 2405 has excellent upscaling capabilities, and is a recommended monitor to play the 360 on, because it looks so good.  I would go for it, man.

NO.  1280x1024 is the 360 vga max res.

1280x1024=1310720 > 1360x768=1044480

So you guys would recomend running my 2405 off a vga cable vs. component.

it dephends on your TV's scaler, i have 2 LCD HDTVs at home, one is an expensive Sony Bravia. both vs vga & component, and VGA is the better image, refresh.

i even tested on 4 of my friends TV (i took my VGA cable at their home tongue.gif) and VGA is winner by far IMO.  smile.gif

The 2405 does better with VGA, IIRC.  It's still great on component, but with a monitor like that, why not break out an extra $30 cable to go with it?
