Title: Xbox 360 Outputs The Wrog Resolution
Post by: xzenor on July 21, 2006, 07:33:00 AM
Ok, why are you using a VGA cable for your "tv"? Why not use the cable supplied with your system. A vga cable is used for a computer monitor. Im sure your tv may come with a vga input. Your tv, if a hdtv, may only output a 720p res. If you use the HD cable for the 360, you can set the 360 to output 720p.

My Tv can handle 1360x768 and that is the resolution I want to run, it's that simple. VGA is much better than component by the way.

60x768). but can only get 1:1 pixel ratio when using DVI connection. when connected via VGA (PC or X360) and if chosen any resolution higher then 1280x768 the monitor downscales the image.

and yes, VGA is the BEST connection for Xbox 360. smile.gif
