Topic says is it all, I run a VGA HD cable to my PC monitor, and set it at 1024x768.
Only problem is, the display shows up at the center of my monitor and doesnt cover all of it.
Scaling my monitor is a solution, although I keep switching PC and X360 back, so It would be a big pain, is there anyway I can tell the box to scale it correctly?

Maximum Resolution1600 x 1200 @ 76Hz

Ive tried 1280x720 before, but all I can do is vertically size down the image and then it doesnt end up being fullscreen at all, and it all looks stretched anyway...I think my monitor must lack the proper setting controls.
-
But is it ok to put it and adjust the height on a 4:3?

I use a VGA cable on my pc monitor, set the xbox360 to 1280x720 and then just use the monitor controls to size up the screen, yeah i have to view it letterboxed (bars top and bottom) but still looks great compared to my 28" SD widescreen CRT.

Try setting the screen format to "Widescreen"...I have a 19" CRT Monitor and I get no letter box what so ever no matter what resolution I use.

What's the problem with 1280x1024? it's close enough that most people wouldn't recognize the difference on a 4:3 monitor, and if it does bug you, you can squish it vertically a fraction of an inch to make it right.
