it should work.  i'm using the cheap behind the ear GE one that I had used with my Xbox on my 360.  Of course you lose the mute mic switch, but it's well worth the comfort to me as I hate over the head headsets.  I would think the 360 headset would work as long as it can plug in...

It'll work fine.  You'd just have to find away to get it to plug into your phone.
