no problem here i have lg 37".have u tried using vga with imput set to dvt not pc.compenent should work fine as well though

I would call lg customer support. Sounds like there is a h/v sync issue with 720p. If the line is on one of the far edges of the screen it's usually a simple adjustment via service menu.
