ok well i went through a whole spell on 5.1 systems but have decided no that isnt a smart idea for college. i recently came across some headphoes on here and at bestbuy that in my mind seem like a better idea for a college dorm and sharing a room with a stranger. i just need some opinions on the 2 turtle beach sets.

With these i can get em for 67.99 cause i have a friend who works at bestbuy.

ive heard these where a better pair(teamxbox) but im concerned about all the wires. i ahve read some posts by people with these and would appreciate some info on the wires and if possible pics.< that would be really awsome if someone has a setup pick with the headset since the web has none of the entire thing.

Do not go with nither. Go with some true dolby digital /DTS 5.1 headphones with dolby headphone technology.

If your worried about it having a mic as well you can set you mic speaker output to 'both' in your 360 dash profile. This will enable you to hear others in your headphones. In order to speak back to them just put the 360 headset around your neck and speak into the mic. It works great.
