really? iv been looking and havnt really found anything in the 480-550 price range, also i saw this same tv for 488 at sams club. do u have any suggestions on a projector for around that price? or a web site?

This TV may be one you might want to consider.  Amazon had it as low as $399.  It's now listed for $449 though.

Stay away from the Samsung SlimFit , they do have terrible geometry issues (has mentioned above) . I owned the 30" widescreen set and returned it as soon as I got it home and plugged it in . Upon further inspection of more of the same model all the sets that I could find had the same issues .
