Title: Xbox 360 Playing Dvds
Post by: lilbplaya3406 on March 25, 2006, 11:58:00 AM
I recently bought a 30 inch hdtv (1080i) a bit ago i was watching Dark Water, but during the movie the picture would turn black then back to the movie. Has this happened to any1 else?

Mine's fine.  Works just as good as any DVD player I've ever used.

Have either of you two tried cleaning the lens with a lens-cleaning-disc?
Mine works fine (doesn't display blacks too well, but NO 360 does).

Have you ever used a REALLY good DVd player?  Blacks seems a little gray to me and the 360 produces a few artifacts as compared to my progressive scan DVD player (I unplugged the DVD player though, too much clutter, 360 does the job fine).

The 360 sucks as a dvd player plain and simple. Hopefully this will be addressed through an update one day.
