Title: Quick Question Regarding Audio/video Channels For Tv & Audio Decod

well, yeah.

your decoder seems to be a DTS decoder (based on it's name, I've never seen it before), so ideally, you'd like to hook up as many of your devices as possible via digital.  This will get you real surround sound, accurate sound from each device that supports digital.  If you do it the other way, the best you'll get out of anything is stereo sound, maybe with some fake surround effects applied to it by the decoder.  Also, I don't know what kind of audio circuitry is in that TV, so it will introduce an x factor.  It may sound BETTER, but it will be far less ACCURATE.  Your 360 at least does digital audio out.  Think of it this way, if you were talking video, would you want to hook up everything via DVI, HDMI, svideo and SCART, then pump all of that out to your TV using RCA cables?  Probably not.

Even if I'm wrong about that, you'll get more pure sound by going directly to the decoder.   If you're not going to be using any digital audio outs, the tv still adds an extra layer of wires and circuitry, and potentially interefence.

All of that said, sound is very subjective.  It might sound good to you to go everything through the TV.  I can assume it will be more convenient, as you'd only have to switch tv inputs when switching between devices.
