i got a 27'' CRT HDTV from Bestbuy when it was on sale. here's the link
http://www.bestbuy.c...d=1099392081898
here's my question, in the description, it said it supports 1080i(obviously no 720p support on CRT HDTV),
i dunno if it supports 480p or not, when i hooked it up to my xbox360 through official M$ HD componet cable
i can set resoulution to 480p(normal and widescreen), 720p and 1080i(widescreen only, cant change screen aspect in dashboard). when playing some games like DOA4, the picture in 480p is kinda offset and cut off a little bit. The one in 720p and 1080i looks a little bit better, but still seems to me it's offset. Im wondering how it works. which one is better resolution for my TV? thanks

i just notice the tv has a screen aspect function, it can zoom to 16:9, is it any good?

so when you play games in 1080i you have to play widescreen since if the game doesnt support 720p?

i just tried to hook up my xbox360 to this tv in 1080i(i believe it's native resolution) with the 16:9 aspect setting, it still looks kinda cut off a little bit, but i can still see the whole menu in game. anyone knows how to get to the service menu for my HDTV? (model IS-TV040928)
