Lol, yeah if anyone has a hook up for like a 10$ 60" LCD throw me a pm ASAP!

In that range (250) I could see you spending this much on components,

TV - 180
Surround sound -50
Cables -20

Your best bet would be a CRT off of ebay or from a private party.

The surround sound you could get from anywhere on sale, Woot.com had one up for 35$ total the other day I think.

The Logitech Z-5500 will give you the best bang for your buck.

You simply cannot beat it for $230 shipped.

the best buy listing info is odd, but just look at manufactures specs.

I had a RCA system that was pretty close in features to the one I just got. But doesn't have digital input.

Just an FYI, I wouldn't look to hard at power output (wattage) because it's not a standard at some stores.  IE, Best Buy forces companies to list their power outputs at non-standard frequencies and total harmonic distortion values.  Good all-in-one systems would be Yamaha and Onkyo (I think you can find both refurbished online very cheap) because the receiver is decent and the speakers can be swapped for better at a later time (most HTiB systems have CRAPPY quality speakers so all the funds for production can be used on the receiver).

Do you like to call me ignorant and stupid to try and make me look like an idiot? Sorry, when I hear HOME THEATER system I dont think about a SURROUND SOUND setup. Also Im sure you can see I dont like people just calling me stupid and or ignorant. I mean If I told you I had a home theater Im sure 99% of everyone on here would agree I was saying I had a TV and Audio System, not just audio. After all having a good audio setup doesnt me you have a good home theater, you need a TV  wink.gif. Im sure it was just miss-understanding though.
