Title: 360 Dvd Player

nope only 480p...

and on a SD tv the dvd player looks allright. But on a HDTV it looks not that good, brightness is way to high. its not a horrible dvd player just not great.

I used XBMC for watching dvds upscaled to HD.

Other than 480p output, even the stock DVD player for Xbox 1 was better, UI / etc wise.. sad.

I like how they do 480p (already throwing the "can't upscale because of macrovision removal" argument out the window) but not anything more, as if it can't do hardware scaling (hello, GPU!) or anything to higher res. lame.

XBMC and even stock Xbox dash are still my video/DVD player of choice
