yes it's possible... but it would cost you more to do the conversion then to just buy a 360 HD cable set.

you would need to get the new AVIP connector...and to do that, you would need another cable.

it would be a far cheaper (and easier) option just to buy the m$ cable.

yeah true that you dont learn anything.

but to convert the olf HD cable, you would need the new AVIP connector. i think the only way you will get one of them is to buy a whole cable for the 360.

for the pinouts, i think you will have to do a little searching. i dont think there is a complete pinout diagram aviable yet. ill do a bit of searching, and if i find one, ill add it to my photobucket account and post it here for you.

ok tried it and it works great many thanks for all your help and for hostin this pic and for savin me some cash...im off to try and wire an xbox1 headset adapter into the line of my planatronics headset as i dont have a vol-on/off switch for my headset as i didnt get a 360 headset. if anyone has a diagram for the old xbox1 headset adapter so i know where to solder the mic/earpiece wires and earths it would be very very very much appreciated.
