Nongaming Capabilities
The Xbox 360 has a built-in ability to serve as a Media Center Extender allowing users stream digital video, audio, and photos from networked PCs running Windows XP Media Center Edition. For instance, similar to TIVO, you can digitally record TV footage and stream it in 720p through your 360. The Xbox 360 also allows users the ability to stream media from portable music devices, digital cameras, and Windows XP-based PCs." In fact, it is possible to have a video chat with another Live member, stream music, and share a slide show online all at the same time. And as with the original, the Xbox 360 will double as a CD/DVD player.
