I WANT ONE!!! What part of the US did you get yours in? Also, did it show up with the deal online or only in the store?

Widescreen WITH DVI and HDCP
Thanks for all the info.
"This tv is last years model, however, the only thing that changed in the new one was that the tv went from DVI to HDMI and is now black."
I know what DVI is because my computer uses it for the monitor, but what is HDMI and which is better? Also, if I get one that is HDMI, will my xbox be able to use its HD pack for it?

At that size I'd much rather have a CRT over an LCD... response time, color, black levels, etc wll all be superior on a CRT, not to mention it's cheaper (even if they're both well below the $1K mark).
Unless you're REALLY REALLY hard up for space I'd go with the CRT in a heartbeat.

Unbelievable.
They even dropped a RCA DLP in there from $3,400.00 to $1,999.99!!??

ill go check out those tvs when my new Super Target opens on the 8th. Right now we dont have a target.
I didn't buy it though, called up a buddy who's been looking for one, I already have 5 friggin TVs and my projector.
I figure I don't really need an HDTV that size right now and when the 360 comes out it will be on the projector, maybe this time next year I'll need one and all the next years worth of models will be on the clearance rack
thats a steal! thats stupidly cheap!
i dont have the receipt, its not my tv, lol
and Yes they checked 4 local stores and none even had the display left. we already checked those stores ourselves but had them check again.
I got one of the 26-inch widescreen HDTV LCD's at Target for $458 before sales tax. Awesome deals, reviews on the model I got were good, and over the past month the TV has been excellent.
mirx999 was right about their electronics deals--lots of good deals where I am. Got a couple of Olympus P-10 photo printers for $37, sold one on eBay and my profit on that paid for the other one...lots of other great deals too, especially on summer-season stuff (grills, fans, air conditioners...).
