Why would you want to?

Even then if the connector is the right size I dont see why not.

It is a 2.5 mm jack.  So a standard mobile headset will work.

I use a cellphone headset with the current xbox no problem, and as long as the plug is a 2.5mm one it should work, they all wont have volume control and mute built in tho...
