Title: Live Splitscreen?

My friend and I enjoy playing GoW together on Live (splitscreen, he doesn't have a 360), but I can't figure out how to do it in R6: Vegas. Is it even possible?

It seems like they tried really hard for ranked/games on LIVE to be totally random.  I've had trouble inviting and doing splitscreen.  Apparently the splitscreen is impossible it seems.
