I like the duck and cover aspect. I was hoping they would do something along the lines of Killswitch.
I don't really like that weird gun Mitchel is using. I know it's based on some sort of DARPA prototype, but it just seems a little to scifi for my tastes.
I hope they give us back a little more control over our squad. I grew kind of tired of my stupid teammates in GR2 and Summit strike. Hopefully the AI is dramatically improved.

And the guy who said he hoped that the A.I. will be improved for the teammates, if you look back eariler on some of the videos, and a bunch of them are gameplay videos, and the A.I. looks very impressive.

Does anyone remember the first ghost recon...were you can open doors..dont you think that with the power of the 360 we should be able to open doors and It can atleast switch you to first person....
I had fun playing seige mode were you had to capture the base but first you had to risk getting shot inside the building....I remember putting claymores at doors and waiting for a victim to open. that was really fun..
and since this game has evolved from first to 3rd person I want them to add a vehicle or 2..I mean these maps are huge...add a jeep dammit even If It doesnt have a machine gun...
keep an eye for a game that I hope goes to 360. (OPERATION FLASHPOINT)Due In november..the game seems to be a sim like recon but with all the goodies tank jeeps ect..

Gameplay reminds me heavily of socom 2 (come on, some of you had to play that game at least once).
I haven't palyed a recon, so I don't have much judgement on the series thus far, but the multiplayer gameplay looks really fun.
One question - why does this video and the 2 posted in the topic starting post feel so different (gameplay wise) than the ones we've seen early on? Is it because these ones are multiplayer and the early ones were single player (slower-paced taking cover etc).

I remember speaking of Socoms before on these forums but no ones really awcknowledged it. I know that Ghost Recons are more apparent and better games.
I remember playing Socom 2 online (trying to have fun with the lack of gameplay) and the last Ghost Recon video you guys posted (the beach) reminded me of everything I wanted a game like socom to be like. The gameplay is refined and looks fun.
Btw, I realize a 1-hit-kill option was on in the video. Anyone else notice that?

Also, can someone clear up the camera view: Can I have my character on the left of the crosshair instead of him on the right? I see the player switch from left to right sometimes (see 2:20). I'm just more comfortable with my character on the left of the reticule.

Anyways, it's all cleared up. I'll see if i didn't see those vids yet. Can you describe the ones you are referring to, though? I've seen the non-hd version of the gametrailers one you posted a few posts back.
