First of, get a pile of arrows you want to multiply, rare arrows are good to use (enchanted should too), now buy a ton more iron arrows, so the pile of iron is bigger than the arrows you wish multiplied.
Equip iron arrows and any bow, draw back and hold fire
Access your inventory screen and try unequip them, it will say a message, then press A and HOLD IT on the iron arrows, now move down to the arrows you want multiplied and let go of A, then select those arrows, the number should match the same pile as the iron arrows, then drop the arrows you multiplied and pick them back up. Just be carefull how many arrows you have because you could be overcumbered. Also try this trick infront of a merchant so you dont need to walk you can talk without moving. One other thing to keep in mind is that most if not all merchants can only pay out 1000 gold at time. Good luck!!
