great news indeed!  i cant wait for this game and a demo would be great to those who are still uncertain about this long-developed title.

That's pretty wicked news. Not so much that I crave the demo, but it's a good sign that they have an awesome/solid game that the demo will serve to hype.

Hmmm, interesting.  I wasn't that excited by the game from videos and pics, but if they believe the demo itself is the most worthy representation of the finished product, then I'll hold my cynical judgment until it's released.  The worst that could happen is I waste 30 min downloading it.
