I came up with this little trick when I found out that my 'A Tale of Two Sisters'-dvd didn't work with my XBOX. Follow the steps, it's as easy as A B C!
1* Rip the disc using vobcopy or any other dvdrippers
2* Rip the subtitles (there's tutorials all over the web)
3* Name the sub the same as the vob and copy the ripped sub to $HOME\subtitles
4* Load up the vob in XBMC and voilá!
If you don't need subtitles, just:
1* Pop the disc into your DVD-drive in the PC (Linuxusers will have to mount)
2* Share your DVD-drive (Linuxusers share the mountpoint) using a protocol of your choice (I use ccxstream)
3* Load up XBMC and open up the share, navigate to the video_ts dir and multi-stack the files
4* Open up vts_01_0.vob and select the second disc (First disc if the DVD contains no rootmenu) and voilá!
Hope this will help anyone, cheers!

Just a footnote: The Tale of Two Sisters DVD didn't work with original (region-patched, the disc is region 4) MS dashboard nor XBMC. It did however work with DVDx2 all the way halfthrough the movie where upon the player and xbox crashed. Since I don't know any other DVD-players for xbox, I came up with this trick. I'm sure that XBMC would play the disc if copied to the harddrive with dvd2xbox, but I've only got a 8 gig disk in it filled to the top with roms and music so I haven't had the opportunity to try that method out.
