the ones you linked too look a LOT better than the ones in OXM.
why the fug would they put ugly ass pics in a mag. Im looking for every reason to like this game but when I see pics, I see nothing but a Halo, a washed out, haloe-esque game. The last thing I want right now is something that resembles Halo.
But the pics you showed look 100,000 x times better. Once again, Rare has confused me.

and once again, I will make myself forget about this game altogether because there are too many I want in the launch window as is. This isnt making the cut until Ive played the ones I KNOW I want and will like.
For shits sake, Im more excited about fuggin Kameo than PD0, thats Rares fault, not mine. MS is playing their cards wrong by showing it so late in the game at X05. Thats only 6 weeks to get the hype machine rolling till launch. My Opinion

Lets think about this, rare likes to leave grafix for the last (I think in an interview one time, some guy from rare said "because thats the easy part") but because we have people out their that just cant wait and demand screenshots when its really not ready to be shown yet they get what they asked for; a game with an unfinished grafix engine. I think this is part of the reason why they are keeping the game from being "overexposed" because its like peter moore said , and im paraphrasing, "it doesnt matter what they think of the product now but what they think of the product when its out."
I havent even looked at the shots yet cause I dont really care
, im gonna buy it anyway!

Look guys, it's obvious that both M$ and Rare have been toying with us.
And most of you guys deserve it since Rare has yet to release any official screen shots. Everyone was just going on collective assumption.
X05 is going to blow the lid off this monster and IT WILL BE PERFECT TIMING!
It will come after Sony's shady attempts to thwart the Xbox 360's launch hype.
This is going to annihilate Sony's E3 Killzone 2 trailer and it's going to send Sony's TGS MGS4 trailer back into it's snake's hole.

twisted is hardly one to bark, as many of us own PS2s (multiple in some case, re: mine) and will most likely buy a PS3 as well.
Tell you what, I'll trade my Cybershot, my Hi-Def Handycam, my Vaio and my PSP for up to date, recent (in-game, no-cut-scene) footage of PS3 games that compare. Tought bit is, Sony is playing their hand later than MS.

We are still biased, no doubt, but every single person on earth is like that. There are certain magnitudes, which Ozy discussed. Sony zombies' magnitude is rather high, Ms fans is rather low.
If we see a crappy looking game on xbox 360 a month before release, then we say that 'it's unfinished' or 'its an early pic', which sounds like an excuse. In a way it is, but a very reasonable one.
Also, if we read a report about someone bashing the PS3's SPECS, we agree with it (it's complex, overhyped). When we hear an article which bashed the Xbox 360's specs, we get mad and groany over it, which is also reasonable (since things like xna developing program and custom hardware pieces are great!).
We have bias, but most of us can admit that PS3 will be an awesome console, but personally it won't be a great console in literate terms for myself - meaning it won't have the games I want.

Anyways, is anyone else getting interested in this game who wasn't interested in it before.

I should have saved enough, if not I will just have to sell some illigal software or sell my body on the streets.
At the xbox release date I only got the Xbox, dvd remote, extra controller and halo and it cost me £500 - $885.82, then two weeks later they dropped the price by £100 - $177.16

I'm sorry but this game looks like shit, yes fucking shit. The gun models are horrid. The world doesnt look very clean. It looks like the developers used that overused sci-fi theme of a bright colorful future world. The only people that can honestly be excited about this pile of shit, is Perfect Dark fans.

and ozzy i agree all the way about xbox fans and sony zombies. there is a difference between people who are influenced by being well informed and those who believe any buzz word and over-exagerated spec given by the same company trying to sell you the product. a zombie would learn not to be hyped up over buzz words like the reality synthesizer after the whole emotion engine debacle. and im the same way, i like MS, nintendo, and sega but despise sony with utter passion. it has a lot to do with how they conduct their business and how they handle their products to the costumers who they relish in the fact will go through hoops for their console no matter how many bugs are in it. i have never owned a sony console (my brother buys those) and never actually sat down to beat a game since tomb raider 2 and 3 on the ps1. if those games would have been on the saturn i would have never touched the damn thing. im not so blind however that i dont admit when a good game comes out on a competing system, its just i cant play it.
back to the topic, man i cant wait for this game now. still wont get it at launch day but i will surely get my hands on it soon. hopefully this will be everything i thought the N64 version should have been.

anyways how can anyone hate unreal and how can the original unreal be considered bright and colorful?? other then halo and goldeneye few console FPS have done anything to innovate the genre. PDZ looks to be one of the next big FPS IMO and that is coming from someone who, until now, did nothing but scoff at any thought of getting this game.
