I have a samsung drive and madden works but when i pic a team or try to play it says dirty disc. It makes it all the way to where i select team them doesnt work. Any idea whats going on? I think its a  New media check.

Yeah, I have freezing problems since the update, not just with Madden either. I can't even play madden tho, I am going to burn it again and try it.

My backup of madden has a few issues on my hitachi but its not major.

1. when i go to pick a play by key player, i get lag, the pics of the players faces show up 1 at a time and very slow, kinda frustrating.

2. if me and a friend are picking a team and scrolling thru the list at the same time the game will stall for like 2-5 secs then kick back in.

3. when picking plays with 2 players it will stall like when picking teams, every now and then.

but thats about it, it will boot every time and its just those minor problems, I have it backed up on a memorex disk.

gonna try verb disks see if there is any difference. Will post results.

When I use my backup for madden 07, it told me I needed to update my xbox to play it. I'm guessing it updated it from the disc so it should have read it fine. But after the update it wouldn't play the game. Do I need to reflash since it did some weird update? Has anyone else updated while there drive was flashed?
