Title: Xbmc Video Playback Status Bar Issue?

In early versions of XBMC the time/status bar was nicely located in the bottom 2/3 of the screen.  Now it is almost invisible at the very bottom of the screen.

More importantly, when I press skip, the status bar "flickers" very quickly and dissappears.  

How do I adjust the location of the bar and the time delay before it dissappears?

I think its just not complete at the minute. The devs are working a more complete OSD (on-screen display).
