i didnt beat halo and halo 2 fully.
177 is the guy who cheif walks arounc with right?
and it was those guys who cheif was fighting against in the second halo right? or the first?
the second halo introduced the flood and that ball with the laser robots so that i understand.
how did 177 and cheif become one? or why?

Especially if you've beaten it on Legendary. There's an extra clip at the end that shows the ship that Masterchief and Cortana (spelling?) are on heading towards a planet. The planet has a name, I forgot what it was, but my friend told me.
So Halo 4 could start right at that point.. with Masterchief and Cortana crash landing onto this new planet.

Ok, the last video after credits goes back in time to scene before ship crashes right? SO HOW DA F**CK can people say " He is still alive cause there a video after credits when he goes in chamber"!!!!!!!! For you dum illeterate assholes, that scene was before the shipped crashed. SO yes he could be dead AND YES he could be alive. So the point of my matter is that anyone who paid attention to the ending will know that Bungie have left us thinking Plain AND SIMPLE.
Now please correct me if im wrong cause im losing my noodles here.

But your thinking is definitely plausible. Master Chief and Cortana make it onto the ship. Then they get caught in the explosion. Then half the ship is missing. Then the ship crashes onto the planet.. the planet you see at the end of Legendary. Master Chief dies. But before he dies, he scratches 117 into the side of the aircraft part (whichever part it was.. and 117 referring to his spartan number of course). Yeah, that makes sense.
Only flaws I can see are...
1- If the planet you see at the end of Legendary IS the planet that they crash on and Master Chief dies... why would it be at the end of Legendary? Would it not make sense to have that extra clip be at the end of Easy, Normal, Heroic? Which are people gonna play first? It doesn't make sense to have a vital clip at the end of a difficultly that no one is going to play first (my no one.. I'm referring to the majority of the population).
2- If that ship really does crash and Master Chief is dead.. then what happened to Cortana?
3- If Master Chief died.. why wouldn't they have ACTUAL pictures and what not of him in his honor? Don't you think it would have been kinda dumb if the greatest savior of the universe was only remembered by a "117" enscrawled into the aircraft part? That just doesn't make sense to me.
That's all I can think of.. seeing as how I'm in the middle of playing Halo 3 as I type this. lol
Other questions that come to mind-
1- How did the Arbiter survive?
2- Which part of the ship was floating in space? Was it the back half or front half? Front half right? Well wasn't the Arbiter driving? Why wouldn't he die too?

The ship crashes. which means the wing behind. the monster thing lives and comes back to tell the human gernal that master cheif dies.
after that clip and after the credit, it goes to the scene where master was floating around and cortana said to me, "we made it out just in time after the cortex (or whatever it it) closes.
so the peice of shhip they show at the ending when the general (or whoever it was) MIGHT be the other half of the ship where master cheif wasnt. the part of the ship where maaster chief WAS is where he is now. which makes me to believe, that monster guy came back to earth bc he lived and told everyone master cheif dies.
i hope im making sence.
AND most of all, how did master chief scratch his name on the wing? that monster guy is the guy with the claws..
thank you for showing me that clip. i think theres gonna be a new war. this was WW1. Time for WW2.
and I hope the flood is gone.

and the book ghosts of onyx takes place between the halo 2 and halo 3 storylines......not after halo 3

Basically true, the core was revealed to be trillions of sentinels linked together. So this planet is either one of two things. Its the micro dyson sphere that the spartan II/III's/dr. hasely and Mendez ended up in at the end of Ghost of Onyx or its the ship from marathon that was one of saturns moons that was converted into a gigantic space ship.
My main reason for believing its the micro dyson spehre from GOO is the blue sun/star reflecting at the end of the cutscene in H3 since one of the 1st characteristics described about the micro dyson sphere is it has a huge bright blue sun/star visible in th e sky.
but only time will tell.

also if you include the books fall of reach, the flood, and ghosts of onyx, then from the time reach was glassed to the end of halo 3 it was about 1 week.

What would be best is beating the game again with subtitles on, starting of course from the last checkpoint of the last level to make things easier.
We never saw the ship crash. We don't know he dies when it does. In fact, we don't even know he crashes; he could get blown up by another ship, or a big rock hits the ship and sends him in a different direction, etc.
