That's very interesting...

Are there any reasons to doubt the legitimacy of your inventory?

By which i mean has it been hacked before, or is data entry outsourced and/or poorly managed?

Link is screwed up   . I dont think that Is for this year though if it is save me a copy . Oh and if anyone didn't know E3 confirmed that Halo 3 will be on the Normal xbox.

Lol I just noticed something correct me if I am wrong but it says in stock date 11/1/05. Then on the side it says Out stock date (which I think is release date) 11/1/07 . Ok while I was editing the image to show what I mean I also saw it said Rating:  RATING_PENDING. If a game is going to be released it should have rating also right?

lol WHAT!? I HIGHLY doubt that its coming out on Xbox. It would be an Xbox360 game. It was meant to be released when the PS3 was released to try and counter it or something. If its MEANT to be on Xbox like you say then proove it lol.

call me a skeptic, but come on, I'd love to jump on the band-wagon and jump for joy, but my senses tell me bogus. I mean, even Bill Gates said that he planned on releasing it to coincide with the PS3 launch, and that seems like classic Bill Gates. I'm not saying that your pic is false, I'm just saying that it could've been planted to create a buzz.

Edit: well the ps3 may release on nov 1. you never know It was never confirmed.

isnt there gonna be a halo/halo 2/ map pack bundle theyre calling the halo triple pack or something? maybe thats what it means by halo 3... and yes out of stock day or whatever its called is the latest they wanna sell it before throwing it in the bargain bin to get rid of overstock... i wonder if itll be 360 compatable and also upscaled to 720p?

ESRB Rating Pending is not uncommon at all... Check out the rating for Test Drive Unlimited.

Is Xbox 360 next-gen?  Yes, as the current gen is the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube. Meaning, not for the current Xbox.

I don't work for either Bungie or MS, so I can't state fact.  But I know an obvious solid marketing-release strategy when I see one. If I'm wrong I'll take it back, but... come on.

Edit: Waaaaiit, you don't maybe mean the Halo Triple Pack that's set to retail for $59.99 do you?  If so, you're getting it late.

i dont know how BB does it but when i worked at osco when we got movies they always had a huge, red-highlighted notice on the inventory that they were not to be put on shelves before the release date, im surprised the halo3 listing doesnt have a similar notice, try looking up other confirmed 360 launch titles and see what they say as instock and onshelf dates, as well as the 360 hardware itself

You can see in the pics - a presell list (which halo 3 is not apart of)
                                  - a receipt for halo 3 (showing its in BBYs inventory)
                                  - the other new MS releases to be out soon ?

I hear all of you guys who are skeptical about it - I was (and still am) but unlike some other companies like EBGames who makes a "pre-order" for anything they can imagine - BBY wouldnt create a sku for something that doesnt exist - or they werent getting in our systems for a long time ?? - The funny thing I havent been able to find the 360 system sku yet - but I was able to find this Halo3 ??

 plus for whoever said it was another marketing ploy?? BBY wouldn't put up with that kinda shite-it wouldnt waste its time.

On  another note though I was told that BBY is the OFFICIAL LAUNCH PARTY with M$ - so they will be getting (say ~) 500 systems while big companies like WallMart will only be getting (say ~) 200

- Again this isnt a pre-sell for HALO 3 or it would have shown up under that section

- the RATING PENDING is because not a single game has "gone gold" for the 360

I don't believe this at all. The way it looks is like its a crappy game that they just want to sell. Being so much of a popular series Bungie and Mircrosoft and the stores would not do this to the game. It would have MORE hype than Halo 2.
