Title: Gta Iv Multiplayer?

I was at my buddies house today playing this game, and we tried for ever just to figure out how to get it to allow us to play online multiplayer.  We tried to connect to another buddy of his down the street that also had is as they work for GS and had then early but couldn't figure it out and would be very nice to know for when i get mine on weds.
