Title: Supported Dvd File System Format?
Post by: Dr_Colossus on December 30, 2003, 10:09:00 PM
I have some hybrid ISO/UDF 2.01 (nero 6) DVD+RW's that work perfectly in XBMP using the ISO mode but fail to be recognized in XBMC. Any suggestions what format, setttings, dvd burning program I should use?  <

XBMC allows you to enter the disc on 3 ways:
via D:
via ISO9660://
via UDF://

D: is autodetect it will map to the 1st format found (either udf or iso9660)
ISO9660:// always uses iso9660
udf:// always uses udf

To enable seperate access to iso9660 & udf pls make sure the following lines are present
in the <pictures> and/or <files> and/or <music> and/or <video> sections of xboxmediacenter.xml

CODE

 ISO
 ISO9660://

 UDF
 UDF:

Thanks for the response I hadn't looked at the .xml config in a while because it has always worked right out of the rar.  <
