Title: Xmc Dvd Problem

I am having a major problem with Xbox Media Center. When I insert a dvd, it will not autoload, despite the fact DVD autoload is selected in the settings.

When I select (my videos) the dvd movie has about a million different files, all freeze XMC

How can I correct this problem?

Update:

I tried to replace it with an older version 12-11 to 11-17.. In the 11-17 version the dvd does autoload but it hangs on a blue screen that has the media player logo on it.

update:

12-08 freezes when a DVD is inserted in the dvd tray.. seems to be a major problem with dvd playback

You're correct in your assumption that there is a major error with DVD playback. The problem is that, as you're looking for, XBMC (or XBMP) do NOT support DVD playback.
Eventually it will (we all hope anyway) but for now your only way of playing a DVD how you want to play it is with the original MS dash (modded if you wish) or DVDX2.
