Title: .nfo File Support?
Post by: nezu on December 23, 2003, 06:27:00 AM
hi,

I keep experiencing crashing when generating playlists of dirs that contain .nfo files. [latest december build]
It would be good if .nfo files were ignored when playing back music, or even cooler if it had an inbuilt txt/nfo viewer!! smile.gif

any further thoughts?

What exactly goed wrong with .nfo files?
does your playlist contain references to .nfo files or did I miss the point?

Frodo

He means:
He has a music album which has a .nfo file in it in a folder.
When he tries to generate a playlist for this folder it works ok. But when he plays the playlist it crashes because the playlist must have a reference to the .nfo

Please note i don't actually experience this i was simply explaining what the person meant!

k, so you got a directory with for example 10 mp3s and 1 .nfo file
you create a playlist for this directory and somehow the .nfo is added to the playlist also
will try it asap and fix it

hiya,

sorry yea thats the situation, if I add a dir containing mp3s and an .nfo file to a music playlist, itll add the .nfo file and crash when it gets to that item.

an nfo/txt viewer would be awesome too though ;p

merry xmas!
