Hi everyone I unlocked my xbox hard drive in config magic, sucks power went out in the house and now my xbox when it goes to reboot it says it needs service. I have my xbox hooked up to my pc via flashfxp but if my console won't boot up I can't access it. Anyone have any advice on how to remedy this problem. Please help. Thank you to any who offer assistance.

What bios are you running? You should be able to lock it back with any modern bios and mod chip.
However, if you didnt follow correct instructions on config magic use, you could have disassociated your eeprom data with your hdd codes. This would result in your xbox trying to reach a drive that has been locked with the wrong code.

I am running the UnleashX. Also, I forgot to mention I did write down my HD key code. So i do have it. Also, as for a modchip I do not have one installed. I used the mechassault softmod trick. Is there a way to hook up my xbox hard drive to my pc and lock it with the key code I wrote down?

OK, then that's a good start. It sounds like you are trying to reach it with the wrong code perhaps. Anywho, I'm not sure if there's an app out there that will allow you to input codes into a hdd to unlock it (via pc), but I would imagine so. Try searching for something like that on google or through the forum search bar. Good luck!

I do not see a code, just the "your xbox requires servicing" screen. If there is a code on the screen where do I look for it? Btw, thank you for your help I greatly appreciate it. thank you.

The error code is in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, but due to the circumstances i don't thnk that is top priority. You said it is softmodded and the power went out? right? I believe you are expereincing the dreaded clock loop, but i don't know much about softmods much less getting out of a clock loop . . . . . . . .
