3 page preview of them playing a newer build, they mentioned a new movie but i havent seen it yet.
http://www.gamespot....p_topslot_click
-
They have a trailer up with some pretty steep recommended system specs. I'm downloading it right now.
-
yeah i saw the requirements thats why i havent seen the vid. it better be good to need that much power.
-
i want to watch it but i odn't have gamespot complete or whatever.
if anyone finds a link to a free version please share!
-
FUCK i hate gamespot servers , 4MB CABLE and shitty gamespot only allows 22KB , 2 hours and 10 minutes damn it.
-
I believe youre DLing the HD trailer from E3..if it weighs in at around 400 or so megs, then dont bother, youve seen it 100 times. Thats unless you never got the HD one before, by all means keep going.

In the exclusive environment teaser video provided to us by Team Ninja, you'll see the arenas in which you'll be kicking ass.
that was in the article. i thought thats the new trailer they were talking about not the old one from E3
-
It was new to me. I have seen the E3 trailer a thousand times and I don't remember this. It was amazing and what I found interesting was when they were in what looked like las vegas there was a sign behind them that said "congratulations to the xenon launch". I downloaded it at 550 kb/s and you need gamespot basic not complete to watch it.
EDIT: I only saw the 1:30 minute E3 trailer, so this may be a different E3 trailer that I had not viewed.

it'll still be a HD trailer, thats why they list those specs*(better have a hefty pc). I bet its the old trailer. Id be very surprised if it was new, you'd think all the sites would have it listed.
how big is the file?
and why arent you out partying
or at the country jam with jim
, taking place at the same fair grounds as the gun shows weve gone too.

452 mb
-
QUOTE(brooksie48 @ Sep 10 2005, 04:54 PM)
yep thats the exact size of the HD E3 trailer
chances of them making another the same size?
slim
actually its 452.9
-
It shows school girls and individual hairs. Did the E3 trailer have a sign that said "congratulations on the xenon launch"

well the hair wasnt so fluid in the E3 trailer as there was some clipping issues. also there were no school girls in the E3 trailer but there was "congratulations on the xenon launch" in a couple of the backgrounds (wrestling ring and the las vegas levels)
if gamestop says that their vid is exclusive then it may be for now, until monday rolls around and every other site starts to have it
-
thats the vid Itagaki showed the players that attended his DOA Ultimate match during E3 at another hotel or something. and its still censored unless they showed the girls naked

They have a brand new never before seen 720p 172 mb video clip here:
http://www.gamespot.com/promos/deadoralive/play.html
It's the top one. They might want to verify your age first, dunno why.
Also you have to have an account with them, no biggie cuz it's free.
It's basically a video showing many of the stages in the game, including the new dino stage that looks fudgin amazing! It's well worth the download!

Id be willing to watch it but not when it DL's at 35kbs.
It'll be plastered all over sites soon enough with real speeds. pos gamestop
oh im blazin now!! 28kb/s!! 1 hour 42 minutes w00000000000000000000000t!
^%&^$&^#&()(&(*^&*$
OK I feel better
my pc runs 720p choppy anyways, I'll gladly wait for a lower res version.
they had better have buttloads to show us of this game come Friday!!!

I always get higher download speeds than people.
Whenever I do a speed test it thinks I have a T1, and I have much better speeds than my friends with the same cable. Another example is I downloaded both of the trailers at 700 kb/s.

700 from this site? damn
what do you get at other places?
Im always between 5 and 700 except for shitty ass gamespot
lmao, I forgot its still running...26.8kb/s

My download was in the 200's
Def, try to get a hold of "PowerDVD" by Cyberlink. It's a very popular DVD player software. http://www.gocyberlink.com/multi/products/main_1_ENU.html
My regular media player plays these hi res videos rather choppy as well.
(1.5 gig cpu)
But for some reason, PowerDVD plays it smoothly. There's a few hiccups in the audio but at least you can "see" the videos without a problem.
Also what I do every now and then when I have enough HD video clips that warrant it, I burn them into a DVD using the "DVD Builder" feature in Roxio's "Easy CD and DVD Creator 6".
Sure the software formats the video clips but the end result is still very good and it looks great on any television.

It boggles my mind that my PC can barely play pre-recorded video at that resolution and the 360 will be generating things at 720p in Real Time
-
i dont even bother with the high res vids on my crap PC. everytime i try its nothing more then a slide show
what i found interesting in the read is that they said DoA 4 was running at 1080i. i think thats the first game to be announced at a res higher then 720p, i wonder why itagaki chose to run the game at this res. and if they are going to be able to keep the game running at that res. when the game is almost done with all the graphical effects put in place.
-
I never seem to have a problem running 720p videos. I have an Athlon64 3000+ with a gig of PC2700 RAM (with the timings at 2-2-2-5) and a paltry (but reliable) 128Mb Radeon 9800 Pro. WMVHD, 720p, whatever... no issues.
A 1080p WMVHD from MS humbled my system a bit though.

Stock @1.8GHz or heavily overclocked? As other than the RAM (PC4000 here) we are running almost the exact same system, if you have the MSI Neo2 Plat. motherboard
, 1080p runs fine on mine, but my Athlon 64 3000 is @ 2.61Ghz

It was pretty choppy for me also. I have 1 gig of of ram, a 512mb video card, and my cpu speed is 3.0GHz.

Yeah, I'm running the A64 3000 stock on a Neo2 Platinum. I haven't bothered to upgrade my RAM because A.) I don't PC game anymore except for Red Alert 2 and B.) The RAM I want is $200 (money saved for 360
). I haven't dared overclock my CPU yet because I haven't indulged myself in the XP-90 HSF yet. But, sooner or later I'll need it and it will be taken care of. For now, as long as 1080p plays, I don't need the upgrade.
PS. Have you had issues with your sound card not putting out 5.1? My coax only works in 5.1 when I have a DVD playing.
Back to the video, I'm lovin' the new levels. I can't wait to see what awful punishment Hayabusa is going to dole out to me in the form of his ninja pile driving dive thing. 90% health decrease...

To be blunt, I have issues with that motherboard, its the biggest P.O.S. nForce motherboard (if you are an overclocker) I have ever owned. I wouldnt know about the onboard audio, I never used it, I have to use my SB Audigy because 64 sounds is a necessity.
Dont you think you have a little much power for playing Red Alert 2, doesnt it require Win 95 or somehitng
just kidding, I still have it installed also

I just watched the video... holy crap is that beautiful

Did you use PowerDVD?
I don't know why it works, it just does.
I have a pretty low end PC,
1.5 gig P4 with a 64 mb video card and 512 mb of ram.
